Un'ulteriore conferma
Apro gli
occhi.
Ieri sera ho fatto tardi. Ieri sera
infatti ho... Cosa ho fatto ieri sera?
Immagini
indistinte iniziano a sfilare nella mia testa: la sfarzosa hall del teatro;
rannicchiata, abbandonata a me stessa. Letto.
Come faccio ad
essere nel mio letto? Controllo l'ora sul cellulare: le 4.45. Potrei ancora
I miei genitori
mi stanno guardando con uno sguardo diverso. Hanno capito. Sanno tutto.
"No, non
E comunque... Come
fate a sapere tutto? Come mai siete qui?".
riportata a casa. Eri infreddolita e dormivi. Poi mamma ti ha letto la memoria
e abbiamo scoperto tutto.
dovrebbe averti vista nessuno"
" Vi
Alessandra, Rebecca, Giada e Lucia.
Lucia!
sola in platea. Chissà se avrà visto qualcosa. Ciò che dice non fa che
confermare i miei dubbi: "Allora?
Another confirmation
I open my
eyes. No, I need five minutes more, morning can't be here. I don't want to go
to school, I'm too tired. Yesterday
night I did... What I did yesterday night?
Indistinct
images parade in my head: big theatre's hall; beautiful Odette; dazzling
lights; confusion sensation; the run behind the scenes; the back door; court
yard's floor; me curled up, left to myself. Bed.
How can I be
in my bed? I check hour on my phone: it's 4:45. I could sleep more
then five minutes, but I can't answer to too many questions.
"Gaia,
did you wake up?" it's mum. That's my bed's fault because it creaks at
every movement.
"Yep, but
now I start again to sleep"
"Are you
okay?" she ask me with a worried tone
"Sure,
why I wouldn't be okay?" my room's light goes on. My parents are strangely
looking at me. They have understand. The know everything.
"No, I'm
not okay. I'm not okay because yesterday was a disaster and I don't know which
consequences my actions can have on our family. Anyway... How can you know
everything? Why are you here?".
Dad replies:
"Yesterday night grandma had a vision: she saw you and you weren't
okay. So I come to you - I've kept the
power to find you anywhere when you were born, to protect you - and I kept you
home. You were cold and sleeping. After that, mum read you memory and we
discovered everything. Sweetie, don't be afraid; we'll solve everything.
According to what we saw, you appeared behind a scenography, so nobody should
saw you"
"Sorry, I
didn't think something like what happened yesterday could happen. I had to work
more on my powers"
"Keep
calm Gaia, and try to sleep" mum whisper me with a sort of smile.
I go into
dance's dressing room, I say hello to the few people in it: Alessandra,
Rebecca, Giada and Lucia.
Lucia! I completely forgot
about her. Saturday I went away and she remained alone in the public. Maybe she
saw something. What she says is a confirm about my doubts: "So? Why don't
you ask me sorry? Why did you go away without telling me anything?
